Recently, Kawasaki has been working on updating its 2023 lineup. The motorcycle maker resigned Jonathan Rea for its factory World Superbike team and introduced new colours for a number of its road models. This year in WorldSBK, we saw the current generation ZX-10R struggle and show its age. In fact, there have been some talks if the Akashi factory should introduce a new homologation model. 2023 ZX-10R will most likely continue with the current generation.
2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R – What’s Changed?
The motorcycle will carry a small graphical tweak to the KRT-inspired livery on the production model. Other than this, the motorcycle remains exactly the same. The performances, features and cycle parts are pretty much the same. Thus, for the 2023 update, Kawasaki has no plans to include any mechanical changes. The current generation ZX-10R uses the same 998cc liquid-cooled fuel-injected in-line four-cylinder engine.
The performance output of the ZX-10R reads as 203 horsepower and 112 Nm of torque. In terms of features, too, the motorcycle gets a suite of electronic rider aids. But for 2024, there are some talks that Kawasaki is working on some big updates. As of now, only Kawasaki Indonesia has now listed Kawasaki’s 2023 flagship sports bike on the website. For 2023, there’s more green on the ZX-10R, which will delight the Kawasaki fans.
In recent years we saw Kawasaki’s colour becoming black more than green. But in recent years – at least with the sports bike segment – the green is making a comeback to greater prominence. Currently available only in Indonesia, we can expect Kawasaki to launch the global network in the coming weeks. Ninja is a very popular brand in India. The motorcycle has been on sale for quite some time and has gained enough popularity. Now with the updated colours, Ninja has become even more desirable.
