BMW Motorrad has updated the smallest GS model, the G 310 GS, for 2023 with some new colour options and graphics. The new colour options also replace the previous three colour options. Apart from the new colour options, the entry-level adventure motorcycle remains identical to the 2022 model.

The BMW G 310 GS is the entry point to the GS range and has been a popular model in India. There is no confirmation on the Indian launch yet. However, expect the new colour options to make it to the Indian market sooner than later.

2023 BMW G 310 GS – Technical Specifications

As we mentioned before, apart from the new colour options, the mechanicals of the bike remains the same. Thus, it continues to use a Euro-5/BS6-compliant 313cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder 4-valve DOHC engine. The motor makes 34 HP at 9,250 rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine pairs with a 6-speed gearbox.

As for suspension, it uses 41 mm upside-down forks at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the back. Compared to its street naked sibling, the G 310 R, the GS gets longer, 180 mm of suspension travel at both ends. Braking hardware consists of a 300 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the back. The front uses a 4-piston radially-mounted calliper, while the rear uses a single-piston floating calliper. The G 310 GS rides on a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear rim.
