MY22 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R launched in India at INR 15,14,000

Kawasaki India announces the launch of MY22 Premium Supersport Ninja ZX-10R. Customers will have two colour options to choose from, i.e. Lime green and Metallic Diablo Black. Kawasaki has put on a generous price tag of INR 15,14,000 (ex-showroom) for this motorcycle. Interested customers can get all the price details by visiting Kawasaki India’s on-road price estimator.

The two-wheeler manufacturer mentioned that deliveries would start from early January next year. The Ninja nameplate in India has been one of the most followed and supported motorcycle brands. And specifically, the ZX-10R has been highly appreciated for its design and performance alike. In fact, from an enthusiast’s perspective, looking to get a track motorcycle, you should definitely consider the Ninja ZX-10R.

MY22 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R – Key Highlights

Powering the motorcycle is a 993cc liquid-cooled in-line four-cylinder unit. The power output is 203 PS, and with Ram Air, it gets to 213 PS. Other key highlights of the motorcycle include Finger follower valve actuation, DLC (Diamond-like Carbon coating) on finger follower, Electronic throttle valves, Air-cooled oil cooler, Close-ratio Transmission, Updated Exhaust system and more.

The chassis setup comprises of Aluminium Twin-spar frame/Aluminium swingarm. To enhance the rider comfort, Kawasaki is making use of Horizontal Back-link Rear Suspension with Showa BFRC lite. With more speed comes more responsibility, and hence, Kawasaki is using a High-performance Brembo brakes system. Moreover, Kawasaki has also worked in improving the aerodynamics of the motorcycle. Now it gets an updated handlebar and footpeg position. Both the upper cowl and tail cowl design’s are now much more aerodynamic and reduce the drag. Now there’s also winglets built into the upper cowl that help generate downforce and increase the motorcycle’s stability.
