Chinese-owned British brand Morris Garages or MG Motor have launched a new mobile application called ‘My MG’ available to download for both Android and Apple platforms without any charge. The app allows MG customers easy access to a multitude of services from the safety and convenience of their homes.

In addition to service reminders and vehicle wellness updates, the My MG app provides features such as booking a new MG and tracking and tracing your new car from production to final delivery. As of now, the brand has only made the tracking facility available on the MG ZS EV. The customer can also view digital manuals of the car, check its ‘protect plans’ and also view warranty coverage details.

The new My MG app enables the MG customer to know when the next service is due and according to that the customer can, using the app, book service appointment with pick up & drop option, connect with the service advisor while getting the car serviced to track the progress, get service cost estimates, live tracking your vehicle while it’s getting serviced,  track service history along with total expenses, making online payments for the service through the app, receiving the invoice for the service jobs performed and sharing your experience with MG – Post-Service, Delivery, & Visits.

The My MG app also allows MG customers to connect with the MG Pulse hub via call, mail or chat 24/7. The My MG app can be used using voice commands to control app features, locate and navigate to nearest MG dealership, avail road-side assistance using its one-tap feature, digitally store important documents such as driving licence, PUC, PAN card and Aadhar card, receive the latest news and press releases from MG and the app adds new features automatically according to the customer’s journey.

Talking about advanced connected features, MG has recently revealed the MG Cyberster Concept, a two-door electric roadster that demonstrates the brand’s technical prowess and as its name suggests the Concept car is likely to feature advanced futuristic multiple touch panels on its interiors, cockpit-style driver-focussed controls, 5G connected features and level 3 autonomous driving capability.
