What is the mXmoto MX9?

Designed by Marcello Silva in Europe, the MX9 is the maiden offering of the company in the electric vehicle segment.

The vision for the bike was a part of the design brief for Silva, who has managed to capture it in the final version. Coming to the design, the MX9 gets a sportbike-like appearance with sharp design elements. The fuel tank area gets a dual tone finish and flows seamlessly into the seat area.

Hardware consists of upside-down front shockers at the front and a rear monoshock. There are disc brakes on both ends and the bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels.

Features of the mXmoto MX9

The MX9 comes with a lot of intelligent features. These include a TFT display that comes with on-board navigation support, calling and Bluetooth support and more.

Coming to the powertrain, more details are awaited. The MX9 comes with a LifePO4 battery, which claims the highest level of safety in battery technology. Thus, they can store a remarkable amount of energy in respect to their size and weight.

Manufacturing plans for the mXmoto MX9

The newest entrant in the EV motorcycle space plans to start production from its Gurugram based unit. This currently has an annual capacity of 3000-4000 units.

After the MX9 is launched, the company plans to foray into the budget EV scooter segment as well. These would be targeted towards the urban dwellers.

According to the bike maker, these high-performance and high-quality mXmoto EVs will be available in many locations across the country. This includes the company’s dealer network as well as its exclusive showrooms.
