MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 Ago: A masterpiece on two wheels

MV Agusta has pulled the wraps off the Superveloce 1000 Ago, a limited-edition motorcycle that blends Italian craftsmanship, racing heritage, and modern engineering. Built to honor 15-time world champion Giacomo Agostini, the bike marks a double celebration—Agostini’s 83rd birthday and MV Agusta’s 80th year in the business.

Only 83 units will be made, each carrying a gold-plated number plaque signed by Agostini himself. But the real kicker? The ignition key contains a brass coin made from one of Agostini’s original race trophies—a literal piece of history in your pocket.

Design that screams legacy

The Superveloce 1000 Ago wears a Fire Red and Magnum Silver livery, accented with yellow highlights and a number 1 badge—a nod to Agostini’s championship-winning machines. The full carbon-fibre bodywork is sculpted for aerodynamic efficiency and visual drama.

Each bike comes with a collector’s kit, including a certificate of authenticity, Alcantara and leather passenger seat, and carbon heel guards. Buyers can also opt for a custom Dainese racing suit and AGV Pista GP RR helmet, both styled in Agostini’s iconic livery.
