MV Agusta reveals 2021 Brutale & Dragster motorcycles

Italian premium superbike brand MV Agusta has upgraded the streetfighter range with the new 2021 MV Agusta Brutale and 2021 MV Agusta Dragster that now comes with improved chassis, new-generation electronics and low-friction components inside the engine along with a new exhaust system that makes both the Brutale and Dragster compliant to the latest Euro5 specification for emission conformity.

Powertrain

Powering the MV Agusta Brutale and the Dragster is a 798cc in-line three-cylinder 4 stroke engine with liquid-cooling and a 12 valve DOHC valvetrain distribution system with mechanical chain tensioner and DLC tappet producing 110 Hp of power and 85 Nm of torque on the Dragster Rosso, 140 Hp of power and 87 Nm of torque on the Dragster RR & RR SCS the Dragster RC SCS  develops 150 Hp of power and 87 Nm of torque with an optional SC-Project Titanium exhaust silencer + Power unit for SC exhaust system and carry-over with special mapping. The MV Agusta Brutale develops 140 Hp of power and 87 Nm of torque. The complete line-up features a cassette type 6-speed gearbox and the SCS models come with an S.C.S. 2.0 (Smart Clutch System) and a Radius CX automatic clutch with hydraulic actuators.

Chassis

The chassis on both the Brutale and the Dragster features design tweaks to improve the rigidity resulting in agile handling and high-speed stability. Both the Brutale and Dragster come with a 43mm adjustable Marzocchi upside-down aluminium hydraulic telescopic fork with DLC treatment and anodized fork legs on the front and an adjustable Progressive Sachs monoshock unit on the rear. Braking power comes from twin 320mm rotors on the front with Brembo radial-type callipers and a single 220mm disc on the rear with Brembo calliper.

Electronics Package

Both the MV Agusta Brutale and the Dragster now feature a new 6-axis Inertial Measuring Unit that enables features such as cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control, wheelie control, launch control, rear lift mitigation etc. The MV Agusta Brutale also features Cruise Control and both the motorcycles come with an improved 5.5-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity features.

Price

In the international market, the MV Agusta Brutale retails starting at EUR 17,000. The MV Agusta Dragster Rosso comes with a price of EUR 14,000, the RR will be sold at EUR 19,500, the RR SCS at EUR 20,000 and the RC SCS come with a sticker price of EUR 22,600.
