Key highlights

  • Moto Morini launches the X-Cape 700 Gold Edition with premium features and gold anodised wheels.
  • The special edition includes heated grips, traction control, and a 7-inch TFT with built-in dashcam.
  • Available exclusively in Italy from June 2025, priced at €7,940.

Moto Morini has taken the wraps off its most premium middleweight ADV yet—the X-Cape 700 Gold Edition. This special edition is a glammed-up version of the standard X-Cape 700, aimed at riders who want a bit more flair and functionality in their adventure machine.

But there’s a catch—it’s only available in Italy, at least for now.

What’s New: Gold, Grip, and Gadgets

The most eye-catching update is the anodised gold tubeless spoked wheels, a first for the 700cc model. Previously, only the X-Cape 650 got the gold treatment.

Moto Morini didn’t stop at aesthetics. The Gold Edition also packs:

  • Heated grips and a heated rider seat
  • Switchable traction control for off-road fun
  • 7-inch TFT display with app-based navigation
  • Integrated dashcam, tyre pressure monitoring, and USB-A/USB-C ports
  • Adjustable Marzocchi forks and KYB rear shock with remote preload
  • Brembo brakes with switchable Bosch ABS
  • Slipper clutch, LED lighting, and centre stand

All this comes wrapped in three colour options: Red Passion, Carrara White, and Black Ebony.

Engine and performance

The Gold Edition retains the same 698cc parallel-twin engine, producing 68 bhp and 68 Nm of torque. It’s mated to a 6-speed gearbox and delivers a balanced mix of touring comfort and off-road capability.

The bike rides on Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres, reinforcing its dual-purpose intent.

Price and availability

Priced at €7,940 (approx. INR 7.15 lakh), the X-Cape 700 Gold Edition offers serious value for money considering its feature list. It will be available through Moto Morini’s Italian dealer network starting June 2025.

There’s no word yet on whether this edition—or its new tech—will make it to other markets.
