Italian two-wheeler manufacturer Moto Morini has pulled the covers off the special edition X-Cape Gold Wheels Edition adventure motorcycle. The unique variant based on the mid-spec X-Cape 650 celebrates the company’s 85th anniversary with no mechanical or feature changes. To commemorate the special occasion, the X-Cape Gold Wheels Edition sports gold-coloured spoked rims that highlight the bike’s exquisite appearance. Moto Morini states that the colour gold represents its prestige and energy, a perfect way to celebrate its 85th anniversary.

The two-wheeler manufacturer first revealed the X-Cape 650 adventure touring motorcycle at the 2021 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. The Gold Wheels Edition retains the same aggressive bodywork designed for rally racing with extensive yet unique details. These include the adjustable windscreen, full LED headlamps with LED DRLs, backlit handlebar guards, suspension guards, and pillion grab handles. Moto Morini offers the standard X-Cape 650 in 3 colours – Smoky Anthracite, Carrara White, and Red Passion with several accessories.

Powering the X-Cape Gold Wheels Edition is the 649cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, L-twin cylinder motor with an 8-valve DOHC distribution system. Thanks to a Bosch electronic fuel injection system, the engine produces 61 PS of power and 56 Nm of torque. The bike sports a seat height of 845mm, a fuel tank capacity of 18-litres, and 175mm of ground clearance. The Gold Wheels Edition gets the steel trellis chassis with an aluminium chassis and 19-inch front wheels with 17-inch rears.
Moto Morini has equipped the bike with a long 50mm, inverted front suspension and a monoshock rear suspension for comfort. Additionally, the bike sports 298mm front brake discs with a floating 2-piston calliper and a single 255mm rear brake disc. The bike also gets Bosch 9.1 MB Switchable ABS for enhanced control along with a large 7-inch TFT display. Moto Morini also offers accessories for the X-Cape 650, such as luggage bags, protection bars, heated knobs, etc.
