After the design sketch and teaser images, TI Clean Mobility has finally launched the Montra Electric 3W Auto in Chennai today. The launch of the Montra Electric 3W also marks the brand’s entry into the electric space. TI Clean Mobility says the new electric 3-wheeler, with its distinct looks, powerful performance and robust build quality, will revolutionise the last mile mobility sector in India.
TI Clean Mobility is a subsidiary of ‘Tube Investments of India: A Murugappa Group Company’. Mr Arun Murugappan, Executive Chairman of Tube Investments of India, says this launch will mark a new phase of growth and innovations for the company. He also said that the company has invested its best resources and time in developing the Montra Electric 3W. The company is also excited to see customer reactions to the Montra Electric 3W.
Montra Electric 3-Wheeler – Price & Availability
Pricing for TI Clean Mobility’s Montra Electric 3W starts at INR 3.02 lakh. This price is for the 7.66 kWh and is ex-showroom post-subsidy. TI Clean Mobility will manufacture the Montra Electric 3W at its facility in Ambattur, Chennai. The company says it will launch it nationwide in phases, starting from the South region. TI Clean Mobility plans on setting up 100+ dealerships across India to cater to customers.

The company claims the Montra Electric 3W is packed with innovation and comes with a host of industry-firsts. The Montra Electric 3W gets the best-in-category 10 kWh battery pack. Thus, the large battery pack helps it deliver an ARAI-certified range of 197 km. Meanwhile, the brand says the typical range of the Montra Electric 3W is 155+/-5 km. The Montra Electric 3W also has the industry-best peak torque output of 60 Nm. Meanwhile, the top speed of the Montra Electric 3W is 55 kmph.
Another industry-first is the multi-drive modes. These enable better economy and also come with a Park Assist Mode for better manoeuvrability. The brand says it prioritises safety and endurance. Thus, the Montra Electric comes with superior materials for complete peace of mind. Additionally, it also gets 24×7 roadside assistance, a 2-year extended warranty option and a 3-year AMC.
Complementing the segment-leading performance is the superior comfort thanks to a double front fork suspension setup, car-like driver seat and better cushioning. The brand claims it has all the space that the driver and passengers will need. Furthermore, it also comes with boot space for luggage. Montra Electric 3W also comes with telematics and state-of-the-art apps for driver and commuter.
