Mini has launched the Mini Convertible in a limited-edition variant called the Sidewalk Edition priced at INR 44.90 lakh ex-showroom. Mini will be rolling out only 15 units of the Mini Sidewalk edition that will be imported as completely built units in India. The Mini Convertible Sidewalk edition is offered in a special Deep Laguna Metallic exterior paint option. The Mini Convertible also comes with an Anthracite electrically operated soft top that can be retracted in 18 seconds and at speed of up to 30 kmph. The 3-in-1 roof comes with the hallmark Z-folding soft top operation that has 3 stages – fully down, fully up, or halfway in-between to let the breeze in.
The Mini Convertible Sidewalk edition distinguishes itself with a ‘SIDEWALK’ insignia and distinctive accents to the individual side scuttle and door entry strips and bonnet stripes, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. On the interior, the Mini Convertible Sidewalk also features brushed aluminium door sills, anthracite finish Mini Yours Leather Lounge Sidewalk upholstery, Dark Petrol and Energetic Yellow piping on the seats, Petrol Finish door trim, Sport Leather Steering with Sidewalk badge and Petrol finished seams for contrast.
The Mini Convertible Sidewalk is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that makes 189 Bhp of power and 280 Nm of torque matched to a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The Mini Convertible Sidewalk edition can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 7.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 230 kmph. The Mini Convertible comes with driving modes such as Sport and Green. Like all Mini cars the Mini Convertible Sidewalk edition also comes with an all-round safety package that includes ABS with cornering brake control, Dynamic Stability Control, Crash sensor, run-flat indicator and a lot more.
In other news, Mini India has introduced the online Mini Online Shop, a digital sales channel for Mini cars which can be easily accessed by visiting Mini’s dedicated website online. The Mini Online Store offers its customers the option to explore the entire Mini Range. Customers can also configure a Mini of their choice, locate the nearest Mini dealer, request for a test drive or quotation, estimate the EMI as well as book their preferred Mini at the click of a button.
