MG Relaunches Doorstep Contactless Car Services

Written by AnantaSaranNayak

MG Motor India relaunches its ‘MG CARE at Home’ offering in popular demand from the customers. This initiative helps the customers in availing some of the essential services directly at their doorstep. The current situation is a significant hurdle to all automotive companies as customers can not visit the service centres due to various restrictions and lockdowns.

And hence many automotive firms are coming up with innovative ideas to help their customers to get their cars serviced. Under the ‘MG Care at Home’ initiative, MG is offering various services. This includes car sanitization, fumigation, general check-up, and dry wash of the car directly at the customers’ homes.

MG India Offers Various Digital Services In The New Normal

Given the restricted movement of people in the current scenario, MG has various contactless programs. This includes services like MG V Phy, which is a voice-guided audio demonstration at the dealerships. Customers can also avail themselves of various MG Care services via the MY MG customer app.

MG is also taking an extra step by enabling an additional layer of check on the technicians before visiting the customers’ homes. The British car manufacturer also claimed that all the services offered at the customers’ homes use special portable equipment. This helps in carrying out tasks like MGerm Clean fumigation, some minor repairs, and dry wash.

MG India And Its Future Plans In India

With a dealership network spanning 245 touchpoints in the country, MG is one of the top emerging car companies in the country. In a relatively short period of time, the company has started up pretty well. Hector has been its top-selling product since the brand entered India, and the company has regularly updated the product to keep it relevant in its segment.

MG connected car tech is its main USP, which attracts the tech-savvy customers of today’s time. The latest product in the works from the brand is the petrol version of the ZS, which might come with a different nameplate, and it is expected that MG will launch the car at the end of this year.
