MG Motor has unveiled the MG One SUV in the Middle East. The car is available in three trim levels and will offer a value for money proposition to its owners.
MG One : Exteriors and Interiors
This mid-size SUV presents a sporty look with an aggressive styling. The car comes with a 3D front grille pointing downwards and sharp LED headlamps. MG is offering a dual-tone design on the car that emphasises its sportiness. Overall, the car can be described as one with a low and wide stance, sloping roofline and it gets a coupe-like shape. Towards the back, the MG One comes with split tail lights that protrude, along with a spoiler that has a cut out.
On the inside, the MG One comes with a unique combination of sound and light elements that offer a new interior experience. The designers wanted to make this cabin for the tech-savvy customers and they have delivered on this promise. The insides come with a large two pane display – one for the driver and one for the infotainment, along with Arkamy’s surround sound system amongst others. The interior materials are well-crafted and come with soft to touch upholstery. The insides get many cubby holes and multiple storage areas along with wireless phone chargers to name a few.
MG One : Features
The MG One is loaded to the grille with features. These include the likes of leather seats, a 12.3” virtual cluster panel with a trip computer, a six-way electric driver seat with lumbar support and four-way electric passenger seats. MG also offers a panoramic sunroof, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with GPS navigation.
In terms of safety features the car boasts of front, side and curtain airbags. Other features include cruise control, push-button ignition, keyless entry and a rear-view camera. Some optional features on higher-end trims are a 360-degree parking view camera.
Powertrain of the MG One
Based on the new modular SIGMA architecture platform, MG has offered a 1.5-litre turbo petrol motor for the SUV. This motor develops 181 HP and 285 Nm of peak torque. The top speed of the car is 195 km/h and the transmission duties are handled by a 7-step CVT gearbox.
Price / Warranty details of the MG One
MG Motor will reveal the prices in the near future while the warranty offered is pretty good. The car maker is offering a 6-year / 2,00,000 km warranty as standard across the trims.
