MG Motor India will deliver a specially customized MG SUV for Bhavina Patel. The Paralympian has won the silver medal in the recently held Tokyo Paralympics. She made history by becoming the first Indian woman Paralympian to bring home a medal in table tennis. Morris Garages also reinforced its commitment to the local community with the Vadodara Marathon, of which Divyang Run being the prime event. MG Motor has proved itself of being much more than a carmaker with various community-related initiatives.
MG Sewa Extends Its Support For Various Initiatives
Under the aegis of MG Sewa, which is the CSR arm of MG Motor, the carmaker has been responsible for a lot of relief measures. This includes the development and donation of Hector Ambulances, strengthening indigenous ventilator manufacturing, extending relief supplies and sanitization, increasing medical oxygen supply, distributing masks, hygiene kits and food items, sanitizing vehicles of elderly people and police personnel. Recently the car maker has identified girl child education as one of its top priorities. Alongside this, the MG Sewa will also look at empowering women by upskilling underprivileged women. With the help of IIMPACT NGO, MG Sewa is helping the primary education for over 1,477 girls across distant villages.
The other key initiatives include Womentorship – empowering women leaders across communities, Changemakers – honouring women entrepreneurs doing exceptional work, and Drive Her Back – enabling women to return back to the workplace. MG has also extended its support to educate teachers and children on road safety. In partnership with ASDC, MG Motor has introduced an initiative called, Dakshata for automotive skill development and to help the young candidates with training and internships. The Genesis and Bridge program also provide the candidates with training and internship with industry professionals.

MG Motor looks fully ready to launch its latest product, Astor. With the tagline ‘India’s First Car With AI Inside’, this SUV will definitely create a buzz once launched. Astor will position itself just below the Hector SUV. And hence, MG will price the car aggressively to beat the likes of Creta, Seltos and other rivals.
