MG Motor India announces the sales figure for February 2021 which stood at 4,329 units. February 2021 sales figure resulted in a growth of 215% as compared to the same period last year. All its products, the ZS EV, MG Hector and Gloster received a lot of positive response from the customers. Recently both the ZS EV and MG Hector received updates which helped in attracting more customers to be a part of the MG brand.
ZS EV
The future of mobility is electric vehicles and every automotive company all around the world is developing bespoke technology to build its e-mobility infrastructure. Recently, MG updated the ZS EV with a better driving range and minor changes to the interiors. MG claims that the 2021 MG ZS EV has the capability to drive up to 419 km on a single charge. ZS EV uses a 44.5 kWh Ultra High-Density Lithium-Ion battery which produces 142.7 PS of power and 353 Nm of torque. MG is offering a 5-year unlimited-kilometre warranty on the battery pack which is extendable up to 8years/1.5 lakh kilometres. This adds to a lot of peace of mind for the customers and helps boost the sale, which is evident from the fact that the ZS EV received more than 350 orders in February 2021. The range of ZS EV starts from INR 20,99,800 (ex-showroom India).
MG Hector
The start of the year turned out to be very happening for the British carmaker, as they launched the updated version of the Hector. A lot has changed in terms of the interiors and equipment list. The highlighting new features of the 2021 MG Hector include wireless smartphone charging, ventilated driver and passenger seats, auto-dimming IRVM, 18-inch alloy wheels in the dual-tone finish, a Panoramic Sunroof and more. The SUV is available in 4 trims, Style, Super, Smart and Select. The addition of a CVT transmission option will help cater to a wider range of audience. The sticker price for MG Hector starts at INR 12.89 lakhs.
