MG Motor India has announced a new partnership. The British brand is collaborating with Jio Platform for its connected car features. MG Comet is the first car to benefit from this partnership. Users of MG Comet EV will be able to experience a host of features including an India-first Hinglish Voice assistant to use in the car.
More Details about the Hello Jio Voice Assistant
According to the company, the Hello Jio Voice Assistant will fare better than the others in the market when it comes to Indian speech. Thanks to a variety of dialects as well as languages, there was a need for a system that could understand the voice commands across the country. To this end, the Jio Voice Assistant has been specifically trained to decipher the multiple regional dialects as well as the tone differences across India.
Some of the commands include turning On and Off the air conditioning system, playing songs directly and users will even be able to ask the system for cricket scores. The Voice Assistant is integrated across the board with music and payment apps, connectivity platform as well as the vehicle hardware.
Furthermore, the Comet EV comes with an embedded Jio e-SIM for all the connected car tech. This is integrated into the vehicle at the time of production itself.
