MG Motor India delivered more than 500 Astor SUVs on Dhanteras

Written by Akhil Dalvi

MG Motor India has received a great response for its Astor SUV, which offers India’s first personal AI assistant. Featuring a segment-first ADAS (level-2) technology, the first batch of the Astor SUV has been sold to customers by MG. The first batch containing more than 500 vehicles was sold to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras. It’s a particularly special achievement for the brand, considering the acute global shortage of semiconductor chips.

MG has tried its best to improve the Astor’s availability with an initial target of 4000-5000 deliveries by December 2021. The positive feedback from customers saw MG selling all 2021 units of the Astor within 20 minutes of opening the bookings. The automaker has re-opened bookings for the Astor SUV, with the scheduled delivery set for 2022. Consumers can book the SUV on MG’s official website or by visiting any nearby dealership.
