The MG M9 electric MPV has been spotted in India, creating a buzz among automotive enthusiasts. This luxury MPV was first showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The latest sighting suggests that the official launch is just around the corner, with deliveries expected to begin in April or May 2025.

The M9 is powered by a 90 kWh battery pack, delivering 241 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. It boasts a WLTP-certified range of 430 km on a single charge, making it a practical choice for long-distance travel. The MPV supports DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.

In terms of design, the M9 features a boxy silhouette with split headlamps, a blanked-off grille, and vertically stacked LED taillights. Spy images reveal a contrast-colored roof and aero wheels, adding to its premium appeal. The MPV measures 5,270 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,840 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,200 mm, ensuring ample space for passengers.

The interior of the M9 is a haven of luxury. It comes with three rows of seating, including reclining ottoman seats with ventilation and massage functions. Other highlights include dual sunroofs, ambient lighting, a 12-speaker premium audio system, and rear entertainment screens. The MPV also features advanced tech like multi-zone climate control, wireless charging, and Level-2 ADAS for enhanced safety.

The M9 is expected to compete with the likes of the Toyota Vellfire and Kia Carnival. While the exact pricing is yet to be revealed, it is estimated to fall in the range of INR 65–85 lakh (ex-showroom).
