Written by News Team

JSW MG Motor India is all set to introduce the futuristic MG Cyberster in the Indian market by January 2025. This electric roadster, which was first showcased at various international auto shows, promises to redefine luxury and performance with its cutting-edge features and striking design.

What’s Special About the MG Cyberster?

The MG Cyberster is a revolutionary electric roadster, boasting eye-catching scissor doors that add a touch of futuristic flair. These doors open and close within five seconds at the push of a button and come equipped with advanced safety features such as dual radar sensors and an anti-pinch bounce-back mechanism.

Design and Features

Inspired by the classic MG B Roadster from the 1960s, the Cyberster combines retro aesthetics with modern design elements. It features a low-slung profile with sharp lines and a sleek silhouette, making it a head-turner on the road. The interior is equally impressive, equipped with a three-screen dashboard layout, powered and ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, and an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite for enhanced safety.

MG Cyberster Performance

The Cyberster is powered by a high-performance electric drivetrain, delivering 536 horsepower and capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The roadster also boasts a top speed of 200 km/h. It features a 77 kWh battery pack offering a range of up to 800 kilometers on a single charge, making it both powerful and efficient.

Market Expectations

MG Motor India plans to launch the Cyberster in January 2025, available at MG Select dealerships, a new luxury brand channel by JSW MG Motor India. This launch aims to cater to the growing demand for high-performance electric vehicles in the country, setting new standards in the segment.

Pricing and Competition

The expected price for the MG Cyberster is around INR 80-90 lakh, positioning it as a premium offering in the Indian market. It will compete with other high-performance electric roadsters such as the Porsche Taycan.
