Mercedes-Benz unveiled the Concept CLA Class at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi. The German automaker also showcased other new models, highlighting its commitment to innovation and sustainability.

What is the Concept CLA Class all about?

The Concept CLA Class is a four-door electric coupe that previews Mercedes-Benz’s new design direction. Built on the Modular Architecture (MMA), the concept model features a clean-sheet design with familiar elements from the CLA nameplate. The front grille, adorned with illuminated stars, resembles the AMG GT and SL. The side profile and low-slung stance give it a sporty look, while the one-piece glass roof doubles as a rear window.

Inside, the futuristic cabin matches the layout and materials of the Vision EQXX. The MBUX Superscreen display spans the width of the dashboard, comprising three screens: a driver display, a touchscreen infotainment system, and a co-driver’s display. The seats are draped in Nappa leather tanned using coffee husks, and materials like recycled PET plastic and bamboo are used throughout the interior.

The Concept car is expected to have a range of up to 750 km, thanks to its in-house developed drive unit. It supports the 800V charging architecture, allowing ultra-fast DC charging. The model is Level 3 autonomy-ready and can be upgraded via over-the-air updates.

In addition to the Concept CLA Class, Mercedes-Benz also showcased the Maybach EQS SUV Night Series and the G-Class electric. The Maybach EQS SUV Night Series features a dual-tone interior with rose gold accents and a 118 kWh battery pack delivering 658 PS and 955 Nm. The G-Class electric retains its iconic design but features a 116 kWh battery pack and four electric motors.
