Mercedes-Benz launches new CLS in India for INR 84.70 lakh

Mercedes-Benz has launched the new CLS model in India. This beautiful looking 4-door coupe is available in a single CLS 300d variant and has been priced at INR 84.70 lakh ex-showroom. The car is now available across all Mercedes-Benz showrooms and the 2 year star ease maintenance package for the CLS starts at INR 90,000.

Powering the new CLS 300 d is a 2.0L, L4 cylinder, diesel motor producing 245 HP of power @ 4200 RPM and 500 Nm of torque ranging between 1600-2400 RPM. The engine is matched to a 9-speed automatic gearbox and sprints from 0-100 kmph in 6.4 seconds with the top speed electronically limited to 250 kmph.

The new CLS measures 4988mm in length, 1890mm in width, 1435mm in height and has a gross weight of 2445 kg.

When first launched, the CLS was the first 4-door coupe in the luxury car market. It continues to be a very desirable luxury car by the looks of it, and rightly so.
