E-Class LWB Top Seller For Mercedes Benz India

The E-Class LWB remained the top-selling car for Mercedes Benz India, while high-end vehicles like the S-Class and GLS SUVs experienced high demand. The sales of electric vehicles (EVs) grew significantly, albeit from a low base, with a tenfold increase. This growth was attributed to the introduction of new models such as the EQB and EQS.

Strong Performance For Q2 2023

During the second quarter of 2023, Mercedes Benz India continued its strong performance, with bookings crossing the 3,500-unit mark and sales reaching 3,831 units, an 8 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2022. The company is ramping up production to meet the high demand.

Mercedes Benz India attributed the record sales performance to the brand’s desirability, attractive product portfolio, and increased availability. It also talked about the successful implementation of the ‘Retail of the Future’ business model. The company aims to enhance the customer experience and focus on the top-end vehicle segment, outpacing other segments.
