Written by AnantaSaranNayak

Mercedes-Benz India recently announced its most recent sales report. For the January-September 2022 period, the company posted a 28 per cent rise in sales, delivering 11,469 new cars. With these numbers, Mercedes-Benz India sold more new cars than it did in the entire CY 2021. The sales growth, despite supply shortages, speaks volumes about the demand for Mercedes in India. In fact, the updated young product portfolio too is attracting a wide range of audiences. The strong sales performance has now breached the pre-pandemic momentum. This further underpins the growing customer aspiration and preference for a Mercedes-Benz car in core markets. This demand is supported by the ever increasing stable economy, strong market outlook, and resilient businesses across sectors.

Detailed Sales Analysis

In H1 of 2022, Mercedes-Benz delivered a total of 7,573 new cars. This translates to a robust growth of 56 per cent, that too amidst market challenges. The company also posted its highest-ever order bank of 6,000+ on the back of its seamless omnichannel luxury ‘direct to customer’ platform. For 2022, Mercedes-Benz’s motto is ‘YOU First’, wherein ‘YOU’ underlines Mercedes- Benz India’s commitment to Customers, Franchise Partners, Employees, and the Community at large. And ‘First’ places them foremost in priority.
