Preparing to continue with the momentum in 2015, Mercedes-Benz has imported 5 units of the new CLS diesel model in India. This new model will replace the current petrol-only CLS from the Indian line-up.

The new model will be powered by a smaller 2.2L diesel motor compared to the 3.5L petrol motor, this will also result in a relatively cheaper price tag.

Details: 1MERCEDES-BENZ TYPE CLS 250 CDI COUPE RHD VIN-WDD2183032A134967,ENG NO-65192432474512,ARAI NO.AAJN0202,ENG CC-2143,YOM-2

Interested buyers need not worry, since these 2014-make cars will be mostly used for media-drives and test-drive purpose and the customers will surely get a 2015-make car once launched.

The CLS 250 CDI will be powered by a 2.2L turbocharged diesel motor producing 201 BHP of power and 500 Nm of torque mated to a 7G-TRONIC Plus automatic gearbox.

Sloping coupe-like roofline, bold front end design and a curved rear end is reminiscent of the new S-Class and the CLA.

Expect the diesel CLS to make it to the Indian streets in the first quarter of 2015.
