Mercedes-Benz adds new workshop Auto Hangar in Mumbai

Good news for Mercedes Benz owners in Mumbai, as the carmaker has announced the addition of a new workshop in the city. Located at Vile Parle, the workshop has a total area of 11,000 sq. ft. The facility also has 10 bays. Additionally, the facility’s annual capacity is to service 3,600 vehicles. This service centre, based on Mercedes Benz’s signature retail presentation Mar 2020, is also the first of its kind in Western India. Named Auto Hangar, the total investment to set up its service centre was INR 48 million. Making the occasion special is that 2022 marks Auto Hangar’s 25th Jubilee in India.

What is MAR 2020?

This is Mercedes Benz’s modern retail presentation format implemented across the globe. It adds more modern touches with an enhanced combination of the digital and physical worlds. The new modern design and signature also aim to attract a wide range of audiences to the brand. Furthermore, the new format aims to realign processes to ensure coordination between various touchpoints and operations for higher customer convenience.

Mercedes Benz Premier Express 2.0

Under this service programme, customers can have their cars serviced in under 3 hours. If not, then the service centre will offer the customers some complimentary services as a part of compensation. This is a very popular service amongst the customers, as it adds to the flexibility and time-saving.

There are a total of two services covered under this programme. Service type A includes services like – Oil and oil filter check and replacement, Brake Fluid replacement, Dust Filter Replacement, Wheel rotation, Coolant Antifreeze mixture ratio check, Washing, and Interior & Exterior Cleaning. Meanwhile, Service type B includes Oil and oil filter check and replacement, Brake Fluid replacement, Dust Filter Replacement, Wheel rotation, Coolant Antifreeze mixture ratio check, Washing, Interior & Exterior Cleaning, Fuel Filter check, and Air Filter replacement. Other services included as part of this programme also include Diesel Fuel filter, Brake discs and Brake pads, and Wheel Balancing. The entire service is digital by incorporating Mercedes DSD Nxt.
