Mercedes-Benz has launched the all-new Mercedes-AMG A45 S 4Matic+ in the Indian market with a price tag of INR 79.50 lakh ex-showroom. The brand has already started accepting bookings on the Mercedes-AMG A45 S 4Matic+ in India. With the new addition, Mercedes-Benz has 13 AMG products in India. This makes Mercedes-Benz the strongest brand for any performance marquee in the Indian market. The new car also further extends the A-Class product portfolio, which comprises the A-Class Limousine, AMG A35 sedan and now the Mercedes-AMG A45 S 4Matic+ hatch. The brand also claims that the Mercedes-AMG A45 S 4Matic+ comes with the ‘world’s most powerful’ 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine in series production.
Mercedes-AMG A45 S 4Matic+ – Design Highlights
The Mercedes-AMG A45 4Matic+ comes with a sporty hatchback design offering an even more distinctive than its predecessors. The sporty hatch features the AMG-specific radiator grille, which clearly indicates its AMG Performance family membership. The hatch also comes with multi-beam LED headlights and an aerodynamic bonnet with power domes. The car also features aerodynamic front wings and flared wheel arches that offer a muscular yet athletic design. The A45 S 4Matic+ also comes with AMG alloy wheels, round twin tailpipes and a wide rear apron.
Mercedes-AMG A45 S 4Matic+ – Technical Specifications
Powering the Mercedes-AMG A45 4Matic+ is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder motor. The engine comes with roller bearing twin-scroll turbocharger and Nanoslide technology to reduce friction between the pistons and cylinders. Mercedes-AMG uses the One Man One Engine principle, and the motor is entirely assembled by hand. The engine produces 421 Hp of power and 500 Nm of torque. The engine comes paired to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 8G dual-clutch transmission, and the power is channelled to the wheels through AMG Performance 4Matic+ fully variable all-wheel drive with AMG Torque Control. This enables the car to sprint from 0-100 in just 3.9 seconds and achieves a top speed of 270 kmph.

The Mercedes-AMG A45 S 4Matic+ comes with features such as AMG Drift mode for Power Sliding and new AMG suspension with specific spring elements. The car also comes with 6 AMG DYNAMIC SELECT driving Modes – Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Individual and Race. The performance hatchback also gets RACE START that enables optimal vehicle acceleration from a standstill. The A45 S 4Matic+ also gets a combination of black ARTICO artificial leather and DINAMICA on the interiors along with Sun Yellow, Polar White, Mountain Grey, Designo Patagonia Red, Designo Mountain Grey Magno and Cosmos Black colour options.
