Rolls-Royce has revealed the new flagship model, the next-generation Phantom. This luxury limousine will go on sale worldwide in the months to come, and was in development for almost half a decade. Rolls-Roycle claims that this new Phantom is the new benchmark of comfort, luxury & style. Also, with the new chassis, the rigidity of the vehicle has gone up by 30% compared to the older model. So the magic carpet like ride quality has now become even better.
New suspension, new axles, new 48V electrical architecture with active stabiliser, 4-wheel steering enhance the driving dynamics. For comfort and low NVH, Rolls-Royce has used a total of 130 kg of sound-deadening material. With thicker glass windows, the Phantom is 60 dB quieter than the older model at 100 kmph.
