AARI (Adishwar Auto Ride India Pvt Ltd) currently sells 26 different motorcycles. All of these come under five different manufacturers. But now that number is all set to grow with the launch of the Italian-origin (Chinese-owned) brand Moto Bologna Passione. As per reports, MBP will make its Indian debut at Auto Expo 2023. Its maiden product for the Indian market will be the M502N naked bike. Alongside this, Keeway will launch the SR250 neo-retro motorcycle in India at the Auto Expo.
MBP M502N Key Highlights
MBP is an Italian-origin brand, which is currently under Chinese ownership. This is similar to Benelli and Moto Morini. Thus MBP will come to India under the umbrella of AARI. As mentioned its maiden product is a mid-capacity naked motorcycle, called M502N.
Mechanical Updates
The M502N gets a liquid-cooled, 486cc, parallel-twin engine. This motor makes 51 HP at 8,500rpm and 45 Nm at 6,750rpm. The engine is linked to a 6-speed gearbox unit. The suspension setup of the M502N consists of a preload-adjustable fork and monoshock. Braking power comes from J. Juan, which includes twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear. Dual-channel ABS is a standard fitment with the motorcycle.
The 120/60-ZR17 (front) and 160/60-ZR17 (rear) cast alloy rim sizes with Pirelli Angel GT tyres made up for the M502N. These are the ones we see with the Benelli 502C as well. The seat height stands tall at 790mm. Meanwhile, the kerb weight of the motorcycle reads 198kg.
Other Options In The Segment
Once launched here, it will rival the likes of the Benelli Leoncino and the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo 6 ½. With the growing demand for naked motorcycles in the Indian market. MBP will make an immediate impact with the launch of the M502N. With the popularity of AARI, it’s not very difficult to market the motorcycle and grab the attention of the public.
