The physical world premiere took place at the Shanghai Auto Show 2021 in China. The digital premiere was held on the brand’s website with special guest David Beckham. Maserati Levante Hybrid Engine Specifications

The Maserati Levante Hybrid is the brand’s first electrified SUV. The new powertrain features a 48-volt Hybrid system capable of recovering the energy usually lost during deceleration and braking. The electric system work in conjunction with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. The brand claims that the four-cylinder unit weighs considerably less than the six-cylinder engine equivalent in both petrol and diesel outputs. The Hybrid engine also helps in better weight distribution with the battery in the rear. This help in optimal mass balance without compromising on the load capacity. It also makes the SUV stable at high speeds and agile in corners.

The single mono scroll turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit is capable of punching out 330 Hp of power and 450 Nm of torque. The powertrain is capable of propelling the SUV to a top speed of 240 kmph and accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6 seconds.

Design, Styling Features

The Maserati Levante Hybrid SUV features a new metallic tri-coat colour called Azzurro Astro. The colour is also available from the Maserati Fuoriserie, the brand’s customisation programme. The Maserati Levante Hybrid features the signature Trident grille on the front with vertical slats, sleek LED headlamps, thin low air intakes, large multi-spoke alloy wheels, Maserati hallmark three-outlet gill on the fender, a coupe-esque roofline, wraparound LED taillamps, four-outlet exhaust pipes, front and rear skid plates etc. The Maserati Levante Hybrid also comes with a frameless 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Maserati Connect.
