Maruti Suzuki launches WagonR Waltz Edition at INR 5,64,671 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki has announced that the brand has launched the new Waltz Edition WagonR in the Indian market at the price of INR 5.64 lakh ex-showroom. The new limited -edition model WagonR comes with a styling upgrades as well as some modern features. Thanks to the new design upgrades on the WagonR Waltz Edition, the appeal of the already popular WagonR will be further enhanced. The WagonR Waltz edition will be available in the Lxi, Vxi and Zxi variants.

What’s New?

The new WagonR Waltz Edition comes with new exterior features such as a new front chrome grille, fog lamps, wheel arch claddings, bumper protectors, body side moulding,  and side skirts. In addition to this, the Maruti Suzuki WagonR Waltz Edition will also come with interior features such as designer floor mats as well as new interior styling kits. Furthermore, the WagonR Waltz edition also comes with features such as a touchscreen infotainment system, speakers, reversing camera and a security system.

Changes Under the Hood?

In terms of the powertrain, the WagonR Waltz remains mechanically unchanged. Maruti Suzuki offers the WagonR Waltz Edition with two advanced K-series engine options. A 1.0-litre and a 1.2-litre petrol engine. Both engines feature the Dual Jet, Dual VVT with Idle Start Stop (ISS) technologies. And both these units come with a choice of transmission options, including a manual and AGS transmission with the petrol motor. Maruti Suzuki also offers the CNG fuel option on the 1.0-litre engine and manual transmission option.

Safety Features

In terms of safety, the Maruti Suzuki WagonR Waltz comes with features such as dual airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC). In addition to this, the WagonR with the AGS transmission also gets features such as Hill-Hold for a safer drive.

Sales

Maruti Suzuki has also revealed that the WagonR commands 64% market share in the mid-hatchback segment in this fiscal. Even in the last fiscal this percentage was 61% showing growth in its segment. Also, since its launch, the brand has sold over 32.5 lakh units of the WagonR in the Indian market.
