Maruti Suzuki, country’s largest car manufacturer has launched ‘Smart Finance’, the latest finance service for all the NEXA customers available in 30 cities. This will be the first time in India that a car manufacturer will be providing an online financial end-to-end service facility under its own name. This will streamline the entire process of buying cars from the comfort of home and avail a range of financing options as well. With the current rise of Covid cases in India, Maruti Suzuki is taking all the necessary steps to encourage customers to stay at home and avail all the services remotely.
The ‘Smart Finance’ platform will be a ‘ONE-STOP-SHOP’ for all the financial needs of the vehicle. This includes choosing the best loan plan, paperwork of the finance formalities, disbursal of loan, loan offers, real-time status updates and more. Maruti Suzuki aims to provide a seamless and transparent experience to all its customers using this tech-driven platform.
Maruti Suzuki has confirmed that it has partnered with 8 banking institutions for this service namely – HDFC Bank, Yes Bank, ICCI Bank, IndusInd Bank, Cholamandalam Finance, AU Small Finance Bank, Mahindra Finance and Kotak Mahindra Prime. The Smart Finance service is available for NEXA customers across all major cities including Delhi, Gurugram, Lucknow, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Cochin, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Goa, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Coimbatore, Surat, Vadodara, Ranchi, Raipur, Nagpur, Trivandrum, Vishakhapatnam, Udaipur, Kanpur, Vijayawada, and Dehradun.
The Smart Finance service is planned to be extended for the Arena customers as well in the near future. In order to expand its reach to a greater audience, Maruti Suzuki has planned to add more financiers too. The automotive industry is shifting most of its services online like, virtual showroom, virtual test drive, doorstep car service pickup and an initiative like this will always be welcomed by the audience. Maruti Suzuki also boasts to have been on the top in the sales chart with its five models Swift, Baleno, WagonR, Alto and Dzire being the top 5 selling models in the November 2020 sales chart.
