Variants of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto

Maruti has positioned the Invicto on the premium spectrum. Hence, the MPV is offered in two variants only. The Zeta+ comes with both seven and eight seat options while the top end Alpha is offered only with 7 seat configuration. Only the strong hybrid powertrain is offered.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto : More Details

The Invicto is a badge-engineered version of the Innova Hycross. The Japanese carmaker has differentiated the car by few cosmetic elements. These include a new grille with horizontal slats, reworked front bumper and new LED DRLs. The car also comes with a different alloy wheel design.

The interior is pretty much identical to the Toyota Innova Hycross. The main change on the inside is the S logo on the steering wheel instead of the Toyota logo. Details like the dashboard layout, centre console and the touchscreen infotainment system, are same as the one on the Toyota.

Toyota will be manufacturing the Invicto alongside the Innova Hycross at its manufacturing facility in Bidadi outside of Bangalore, Karnataka.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto : Powertrain

Maruti has offered only the hybrid powertrain with the Invicto. This unit consists of a 2.0-litre NA petrol engine and an electric motor jointly rated at 183 BHP. Transmission duties are done by an e-CVT gearbox.
