Kickstarting the festive season, Maruti Suzuki is offering its customers festival editions of its three bestsellers – the Maruti Suzuki Alto, Celerio and WagonR. The new festive edition models come with a new accessory kit enhancing the style and comfort of the car. The new accessory kits are aimed toward the new aspirational buyers that seek to brighten up their cars for the festivities. The new Festive Edition kits are offered at a special price of INR 25,490 for the Alto, INR 25,990 for the Celerio and INR 29,990 for the WagonR. The kits can be fitted at Maruti Suzuki Dealerships by professional technicians.
The brand’s entry-level segment has witnessed a surge in demand which is partly owing to the rise in need of personal mobility solution in the post-COVID era. The Maruti Suzuki Alto, WagonR and Celerio togather contribute around 75% of the entry segment vehicles in the Indian market and are said to be responsible for reviving the entry segment sales. All three brands have also evolved to cater to the changing need of the customer, dominating the segment.
The Festive Edition of the Alto features a Pioneer touchscreen music system along with 6-inch Kenwood speakers, dual-tone seat covers, steering wheel cover, security system, trendy floor mats, number plate garnish, mud flaps etc. The Festive Edition Celerio comes with a Sony 2-din audio system with Bluetooth, seat covers, designer mats, piano black body side mouldings, door visor, number plate garnish, rear seat cushion etc. The Festive Edition WagonR features front and rear bumper protectors, front upper grill chrome garnish, side skirts, black body side moulding, wheel arch cladding, themed seat covers, designer mats, door visor and an interior styling kit.
Recently, the brand also celebrated the 20 years of the much-popular Alto during which the marque crossed the 40 lakh sales milestone. The Alto is powered by a BS6 standards 800cc three-cylinder, four-valve/cylinder petrol engine that produces 47.3 Hp of power matched to a 5-speed manual transmission.
