Maruti Suzuki has sold over 1 lakh units of the Super Carry

Renowned Indian automobile manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has announced that it has sold 1 lakh units of its Super Carry LCV. Launched in 2016, the Super Carry has achieved the record-breaking milestone of 1 lakh cumulative sales within 5 years. Developed specifically for India, the LCV fulfils the versatile and unique requirements of Indian commercial customers and mini-truck users.

Over the years, the LCV has garnered widespread appreciation from Indian customers thanks to its best-in-segment power and excellent mileage. The Maruti Suzuki Super Carry also offers easy maintenance, comfort, and enhanced storage capacity for improved profitability. Maruti Suzuki offers the Super Carry with 2 engine options- Petrol and CNG.

2021 Maruti Suzuki Super Carry: Design, Price, & Network

Maruti Suzuki has priced the base Petrol Cab Chassis variant of the LCV at INR 4.35 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the top-spec CNG variant of the Super Carry costs INR 5.28 lakh (ex-showroom). With two colour options- White and Silky Silver, the Super Carry sports a large chrome grille with projector headlamps. The LCV features a loading deck area that measures 2183mm in length, 1488mm in width with a 740 Kg payload capacity.

Maruti Suzuki sells the Super Carry LCV via its dedicated 335 Commercial outlets, spread across 237 cities in India. The automaker comprises a wide service network with 3800+ service centres that function on the brand’s established values. These include partnership, reliability, efficiency, transparency, and ingenuity. Maruti Suzuki’s commercial channel also offers the EECO Cargo and the Tour Range alongside its Super Carry LCV.

2021 Maruti Suzuki Super Carry: Technical Specs 

Powering the Super Carry LCV is a BS6 compliant, 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder petrol motor producing 72 PS and 98 Nm. The LCV also offers a unique dual fuel S-CNG variant with a 5-Liter fuel tank for enhanced fuel economy. The CNG variant of the Super Carry produces 64 PS of power and 85 Nm of torque.

Mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, the LCV sports 175mm of ground clearance and front MacPherson coil spring suspension. Along with a Rigid Axle, Leaf Spring Suspension, the LCV sports a front ventilated brake disc with a rear drum brake. Additionally, the Super Carry sports a top speed of 80 kph and a grade-ability of 21%.
