Maruti Suzuki exported 2,38,376 cars to over 100 countries in FY 2021-22

Maruti Suzuki has announced that the company recorded 238,376 units of sales in FY 2021-22. The brand reveals that the figure is the highest in any financial year. During the month of March 2022, Maruti Suzuki India Limited registered 26,496 units in exports. This also boasts of being the company’s highest-ever monthly exports. The record-high exports affirm Maruti Suzuki’s commitment to the Government of India’s Make-in-India initiative. 

Maruti Suzuki also revealed a picture of a collection of Maruti Suzuki’s export vehicles ready to be loaded into the ship at Mundra port. The company reveals that the top five export models were Baleno, Dzire, Swift, S-Presso and Vitara Brezza. Also, the top export markets include Latin America, Africa, ASEAN, and the Middle East. The brand has been exporting vehicles since 1986 and has achieved a cumulative exports of over 22.5 lakh vehicles. The brand exports India manufactured Maruti Suzuki vehicles to over 100 countries.

Maruti Suzuki WagonR Tour H3 – Launch

The brand has recently launched the WagonR Tour H3 at the price of INR 5,39,500 ex-showroom, Delhi. The CNG fuel variant is priced at INR 6,34,500 ex-showroom, Delhi. The WagonR Tour H3 comes with two colour options – Superior White and Silky Silver. In its petrol variant, the WagonR Tour H3 comes with a mileage of 25.40 kmpl. The CNG variant has a mileage of 34.73 km/kg. 

2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno – Highlights

The brand recently announced that the 2022 Baleno had crossed 50,000 bookings in the Indian market. The Maruti Suzuki Baleno will be available in Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha variants. The hatchback features NexTre DRLs, a NexWave front grille, NEXA’s ‘Crafted Futurism’ philosophy, 360-degree parking camera, 9-inch, SmartPlay+ touchscreen infotainment system and a heads-up display. The Baleno comes with a 1.2-litre, Advanced K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with mild-hybrid technology. The motor produces 90 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque via a 5-speed manual or 5-speed Automated Manual Transmission (AGS). The hatchback also comes with an Idle Start/Stop system offering 22.35 kmpl mileage on the manual variant, whereas the AGS variant offers 22.94 kmpl.
