Maruti Suzuki has been planning to launch the all-electric eVX in the Indian market. The brand is currently testing the electric vehicle in the Indian market. Recently, the Maruti Suzuki eVX was spotted road testing under full capacity. According to reports, the Maruti Suzuki eVX has been spotted in Gurugram with 5 passengers as well as testing equipment. This leads us to believe that the engineers at Maruti Suzuki could be testing the vehicle under full load. Such tests mimic daily driving conditions as well as conditions where the car could be used at its full capacity on road.
Maruti Suzuki eVX – Spyshots
In addition to this, spyshots of the Maruti Suzuki eVX also reveal a multi-spoke alloy wheel setup on the car. Moreover, the electric car is also likely to come with C-pillar mounted door handles, and a battery charging port on the front left quarter panel. On the inside, the Maruti Suzuki eVX is likely to come with a squircle steering wheel and a dashboard mounted central infotainment system. Additionally, the eVXX is also likely to come with a raised transmission tunnel with storage space under the rotary gear selector. Spyshots also reveal premium seat upholstery and good side bolstering on the seats. Furthermore, expect the Maruti Suzuki eVX to come with features such as a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitor, camera- and radar-based ADAS with Autonomous Emergency Braking, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, front collision alert, adaptive cruise control and more.
Technical Speculations
While details on the powertrain are still scarce, sources reveal that the Maruti Suzuki eVX is likely to come with two battery options and two powertrain options. The eVX could get a 45 kWh unit on low-end models and a 60 kWh unit on higher-spec models along with a single motor with front wheel drive or an optional dual motor setup with all-wheel drive. The long range version with a large battery pack is likely to offer a range of around 500 km on a single charge.
