We all know that the Maruti Suzuki Dzire is a name every potential car buyer is familiar with. For over a decade, the Dzire has been one of the top selling sedans in the country and now, between April – November 2019 the brand has sold more than 1.2 lakh units of this car. The Dzire compact-sedan rivals the likes of Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent, Tata Tigor and Volkswagen Ameo. The Dzire has managed to maintain a healthy lead in the first 8 months of 2019-20 over its competition. Also, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire has crossed the 2 million sales milestone. In the compact-sedan segment, the Dzire has bagged ~ 60% market share.

The brand reveals that nearly 70% of the Dzire customers come looking to own a sedan, and finally settle for this sub-4 metre product. Almost 50% of the Dzire buyers are accepting it as their first car ever and that shows the faith the market has in this compact-sedan. Also, the Dzire has become the highest selling car in the Indian market in this fiscal year so far. Been in the market for over 10 years, the 3rd generation model of the Dzire which we have in showrooms today was launched in May 2017. Next year, this car is all set for a mid-life makeover / facelift and it will pick up the fight with new upcoming competition such as the Hyundai Aura.

Maruti Suzuki offers the Dzire in petrol and diesel engine options, with an AMT automatic on offer for both the fuels. This compact-sedan comes with features such as LED DRLs, LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, alloy wheels, touchscreen infotainment, automatic climate control, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors with camera, etc.

Dubbed as the Dzire tour, Maruti Suzuki also offers this product to the fleet operators with a diesel and CNG option here in the Indian market.
