Maruti Suzuki announces winter car care camp

Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest car manufacturer has announced its ‘Winter Care’ campaign across all the Maruti Suzuki Dealers and Distributors. This special winter care awareness program will aim in providing key tips about the proper maintenance of the vehicles.

The key highlights of the programme are; spreading awareness about the most used parts and accessories in the winter season like fog lamps, rear defogger, headlights and more. The extensive use of parts like wipers and brakes cause wear and tear to the critical mechanical parts and thus requires proper maintenance and replacement if needed. These services will be available across India in all 2,733 Dealers workshop and 758 distributor touchpoints.

With the rise of covid cases in India, Maruti Suzuki is taking necessary steps to combat the spread of the virus by providing a variety of safety accessories like Cabin Air Filter PM 2.5, Car Ionizer + Air Purifier, AC Disinfectant, N95 Mask/Germ Buster, Body Cover and more. Maruti Suzuki has been quite vocal to the customers about the use of only genuine accessories in the cars, as they are manufactured as OEM and are engineered to precision and perfection as claimed by Maruti Suzuki.

Recently, Maruti Suzuki introduced the ‘Smart Finance’ platform. This is a ‘ONE-STOP-SHOP’ for all the financial needs of the vehicle. This includes choosing the best loan plan, paperwork of the finance formalities, disbursal of loan, loan offers, real-time status updates and more. Maruti Suzuki aims to provide a seamless and transparent experience to all its customers using this tech-driven platform.

Maruti Suzuki is the largest car manufacturer in India with a total market share of 53%. For the month of November 2020, it sold about 1,35,775 units with Hyundai on second selling 44,600 units which are one-third of what Maruti Suzuki sold. The top-selling car in India is the Swift which sold about 18,500 units followed by Baleno selling around 17,872 units. All the top 5 cars sold in India for the month of November were from Maruti Suzuki, starting with Swift, Baleno and WagonR as the top 3 with  Alto and Dzire on 4th and 5th position respectively.
