Maruti Suzuki has announced that the brand has enhanced its warranty programmes bringing peace of mind to its customers. The brand has not only enhanced the standard warranty on its vehicles but also its extended warranty package.
Standard Warranty on Maruti Suzuki Cars in India
Maruti Suzuki used to offer a standard warranty of 2 years or 40,000 km which has been enhanced to 3 years or 100,000 km whichever is earlier. Maruti Suzuki further revealed that the standard warranty programme will be applicable on vehicles delivered from 9th of July 2024 onwards. The new warranty will also include coverage for the engine, transmission, air-conditioning, electrical and mechanical components. However, it does not include consumables. Thanks the long warranty period even as standard, customers will be able to enjoy their Maruti Suzuki cars with peace of mind. In addition to this, customers also has access to free repairs as any Maruti Suzuki authorised service centre throughout their warranty period and across India.
Extended Warranty on Maruti Suzuki Cars in India
In addition to the standard warranty Maruti Suzuki is also offering its customers extended warranty packages. This extended warranty covers the vehicle for up to 6 years or 160,000 km, whichever is earlier. The brand offers three such extended warranty programmes to its customers in India.
- Platinum Package
- Royal Platinum Package
- Solitaire Package
Under the Platinum package the brand offers an extended warranty of up to the 4th year or 120,000 km. This is above the standard warranty which is now enhance to 3 years. The Royal Platinum Package offers customers peace of mind for up to the 5th year of purchase as well as 140,000 km whichever is earlier. And under the Solitaire package the brand offer warranty up to the 6th year or 160,000 km whichever is earlier.
The extended warranty benefits cover 11 high value parts which were earlier limited to on the duration of the standard warranty. More information about the standard and extended warranty options are available on Maruti Suzuki’s official website as well as at their authorised dealerships.
