MapmyIndia partners will offer GPS navigation on the Bolt

MapmyIndia has partnered with Tata Motors to provide GPS Navigation and other related solutions on the upcoming Bolt hatchback.

The addition of a GPS device will surely add some more jazz to the Bolt hatchback which already has a couple of segment best and segment first features. The GPS device will provide digital maps, navigation solutions, tracking solutions, etc. There will not be an additional device for this, but an addition in the existing head unit of the Bolt hatchback which will be paired with your smartphone.

Bolt owners will get this dedicated MapmyIndia Navigation app.

MapmyIndia offers a coverage of over 2 million kilometers across 7,068 cities and shows data of 10.54 million unique destinations.

But does this layer on the head unit paired to a smartphone feel as easy to use compared to a dedicated GPS device? It’s personal preference actually. There is no news if Tata is offering this feature as standard on the top end variants or as an optional accessory.
