Dolby Sound Technology : More Details

A vehicle equipped with Dolby Sound will not only sound more clearer but also a dimensional audio experience. This means, if a vocal or instrument is recorded from one side, it will be heard from the same side when played back.

To this end, Mahindra is expected to use 360-degree speakers from Harman which will offer an immersive sound experience for occupants. The system is likely to consist of multiple speakers all around. There could even be speakers mounted on the roof.

Apart from music / sound payback, Mahindra will also use the technology to use multi-dimensional warning sounds or prompts for navigation, camera, alerts, and even for ADAS alerts.
