Mahindra XUV700 Gold Edition – Check It Out!

Mahindra has introduced the new XUV700 Gold edition for Indian athlete Sumit Antil. Sumit Antil is the Gold medal winner for F64 Men’s javelin throw. Mahindra recently announced that the brand has commenced deliveries in the Indian market for the popular XUV700. The brand also revealed that Sumit Antil has also been handed over the keys of the XUV700 Gold Edition along with other first few recipients of the XUV700.

Mahindra XUV700 Gold Edition – Design Highlights

The Mahindra XUV700 Gold Edition comes with a custom-made midnight black shade along with gold accents on the inside and outside. Mahindra’s Chief Design Officer at the EVP M&M Ltd., Pratap Bose, has designed the XUV700 Gold Edition. The Gold Edition immortalises Sumit Antil’s record embossed as a badge on the fender and tailgate.

The car also comes with the record embroidered on all the six headrests and the front dashboard. The brand also offers an elegant front grille accentuated with gold plating on vertical slats of the grille. Mahindra has also employed the Satin Gold plating in this XUV700. Furthermore, all seats and IP panel have been stitched with fine gold thread as accents. In addition to the cosmetic features, the Mahindra XUV700 remains mechanically unchanged.

Mahindra XUV700 – Powertrain

Powering the Mahindra XUV700 are two engines. A 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 200 PS of power and 380 Nm of torque. While the oil motor on the MX variant produces 155 PS of power and 360 Nm of torque. However, the car on the AX trim produces 185 PS of power and 420 Nm of torque. The AX trim with the automatic gearbox option makes 185 PS of power and 450 Nm of torque.

Mahindra XUV700 – Price

The Mahindra XUV700 comes with a starting price of INR 12.49 lakh ex-showroom and goes upto 17.99 lakh ex-showroom.
