Written by Kanad Kalasur

Mahindra has launched the XUV400Verse, a metaverse platform for Mahindra’s all-electric XUV400. The virtual world will now have the XUV400 EV, which is powered by Metadome.ai. Mahindra aims to offer the platform as a universe that will combine the carmaker’s virtual spaces to offer the customers a unique experience, complete with photo-realistic graphics.

What is the XUV400Verse?

The virtual reality space has been designed to create a superior customer experience. The community of young SUV buyers and enthusiasts will be able to share this experience with their friends and family right from their homes. The XUV400Verse will allow customers to engage, collaborate, socialize and have an immersive product interaction. This is one of the first such platforms by any carmaker in India.

Here are some of the unique offerings of the XUV400Verse:

Virtual Brand Showroom

Here, the customers can interact with avatars – both Live and Non-Playable Characters (NPC) and roam around the virtual showroom, walk through zones and even take a look at brand-led merchandise and accessories.

Customise your avatar

Those who visit the XUV400Verse will be able to create and join with their own customisable avatars. Users can also invite their friends and family to get their own avatars and explore the Metaverse together.

Hyper-Realistic 3D car configurator

Users will also be able to check out the new Mahindra XUV400 digitally in the XUV400Verse. The hyper-realistic 3D car configurator enables real-time customisation, change colour as well as experience the SUV’s features immersively.

Virtual Test Drive

Mahindra is introducing a first-of-its-kind virtual test drive for the XUV400. Users will be able to learn the salient features of the car as well as interact in a gamified way, including multiple camera modes and views, branded billboards and amazing cinematics to name a few.
