Mahindra is gearing up to introduce the new XUV.e9 a fully electric SUV in the Indian market. The premium segment electric SUV is currently undergoing road tests, and is likely to make its debut in 2025. The electric SUV is based on Mahindra’s dedicated INGLO platform and comes with futuristic features and proportions.
Now, another detail of the electric car has emerged on the internet. Spyshots of the interiors of the Mahindra XUV.e9 reveals its dashboard. Though, spied images of the car are quite unclear so details are limited. But, the electric SUV appears to come with three screens on dashboard.
Mahindra XUV.e9 – Interior Spyshot
According to spy shots, the XUV.e9 comes with a fully digital driver’s display and a central infotainment system. The EV also features a third screen on the passenger side. This third screen is likely to be roughly the same size as the instruments panel.
However, the passenger screen and the central infotainment display are both likely to be touchscreens. The driver’s display is not likely to come with a touch feature. Sources also reveal that the Mahindra XUV.e9 is likely to come with a two-spoke steering wheel. More details on the interiors are likely to come in the near future.
Mahindra XUV.e9 – Powertrain
The Mahindra XUV.e9 comes with an INGLO platform that can offer up to 250 kW power in all-wheel-drive. The power unit in rear-wheel-drive is likely to offer 170 kW of power. The XUV.e9 will be capable of sprinting from 0-100 kmph in just 5-6 seconds and will come with a 60 kWh to 80 kWh battery pack.
Mahindra Testing XUV.e9 in Ladakh
Recently, the brand has been testing the Mahindra XUV.e9 in the high-mountain desert region of Ladakh. The extreme terrain of the region allows the company to test the durability of the vehicle in different temperatures as well as air pressures. This is also the perfect place to test the suspension and drivetrain of SUVs, thanks to the naturally rough terrain.
