Mahindra has officially started accepting bookings for its much-anticipated compact SUV, the XUV 3XO, today. The vehicle, which is a facelift of the XUV300, was announced last month.
Pricing and Engine Options
The XUV 3XO is available in a wide range of variants, with prices starting at INR 7.49 lakh. The top-of-the-line 131 hp, 1.2 turbo-petrol AX7 L variant is priced at INR 15.49 lakh. The vehicle is expected to compete with the likes of the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Hyundai Venue.
The XUV 3XO comes with three engine options: a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 111 hp, a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder direct-injection turbo-petrol engine with 131 hp, and a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel unit that delivers 117 hp1. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque converter automatic, and a 6-speed AMT.
Features
On the features front, the XUV 3XO is equipped with a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, a similarly sized digital driver’s display, a first-in-segment panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, all-LED lighting, a seven-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with a 380W amplifier, Adrenox Connect in-car connectivity, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and more. The safety suite includes six airbags, rear disc brakes, ESP, ISOFIX anchors, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, hill-start and hill descent assist, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor and segment-first Level 2 ADAS.
Deliveries of the XUV 3XO are slated to begin from May 26. Customers can book the vehicle by visiting the nearest Mahindra-authorised dealership or through the brand’s online booking portal.
