Mahindra has officially started the deliveries of its flagship electric SUV, the XEV 9e. The new EV is now being delivered to the customers who booked the car initially in the first batch online.

Mahindra XEV 9e electric SUV – Complete details
The XEV 9e is based on Mahindra’s new INGLO architecture that provides a base for other EVs including the BE 6e. It is available in eight colour options and the prices for the base model start from Rs 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra is offering two battery pack options for the XEV 9e: 59 kWh and 79 kWh. Moreover, customers can opt for four different variants, depending on the features and convenience required.
The 59 kWh battery pack option produces 228 bhp and 320 Nm of peak power and torque. Meanwhile, the bigger 79 kWh battery pack option produces 282 bhp and 380 Nm of peak power and torque.
The XEV 9e is a quick electric crossover that can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds. These figures are competitive to the luxury electric cars which are usually priced more than twice the XEV 9e.
Additionally, the 79 kWh battery pack option can deliver a maximum range of up to 656 km per charge as per the MIDC claim. This is outstanding for long-distance users and highway drives.
With the help of the INGLO platform, the XEV 9e also supports the rapid charging of up to 175 kW. This helps it get charged from 20-80 per cent in just 20 minutes.
Feature-wise, the XEV 9e gets a triple-screen layout with three 12.3-inch screens, a new 2-spoke steering wheel design, a panoramic sunroof, a level 2 ADAS safety suite, and a parking assistant system as well.

The new Mahindra XEV 9e is the current flagship model for the brand. The crossover offers a unique and futuristic design with a powerful electric performance. With its deliveries now commenced, we expect to see a lot of 9e’s on the road soon.
