The North American division of Mahindra has announced that it has partnered with Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) as its anchor sponsor. The company will feature on the No.1 NASCAR Cup Series Team with driver Chase Briscoe enlisted for the 2022 season. With this multi-year partnership, Mahindra Ag North America will feature its ‘Mahindra Tractors’ brand on the SHR NASCAR team.
Co-owned by NASCAR Hall of Fame Tony Stewart and industrialist Gene Haas, the No. 14 Ford Mustang will highlight the sponsor. The SHR team will debut its red-and-black, ‘No.14 Mahindra Tractors Ford Mustang’ in the Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum. The team will arrive in Los Angeles on February 5th-6th before returning back to the start of the Daytona 500. The 64th running of the event will take place on February 20th at the Daytona International Speedway.

The Driver
The SHR NASCAR team has chosen Chase Briscoe as their star driver for the upcoming Daytona 500. 26-year old Chase Briscoe from Mitchell, Indiana, successfully completed his 1st year in the NASCAR Cup Series. He also managed to win the rookie-of-the-year title while driving the ‘No.14 HighPoint.com Ford Mustang’ for team SHR. Before his NASCAR Cup Series debut, Briscoe competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series to win nine record-breaking races in 2020.
The third-generation racer’s career began on the dirt track of Indiana, later graduating to USAC sprint cars and non-wing cars. Briscoe drove a race car for the very first time in 2001, during which he won his first heat race. After turning 13, Briscoe moved on to mini sprints and drove the 410 sprint car amongst 40 racers, finishing 10th. During the rookie season, Briscoe achieved eight top-5 finishes and seventeen top-10 finishes, including the season’s final race victory.
