Sighting low demand, Mahindra and Mahindra has announced that they will halt the production at their tractor plants located at Jaipur and Rudrapur this month.
The company claims that it has enough inventory of products, in case a customer orders one. The company had also stopped production at all their automotive plants in the month of August 2014 for upto four days sighting low demand.
The company sold 28,739 tractors in September 2014, as opposed to 26,637 units in the same month last year.
