Mahindra will be launching the new Thar Roxx – a 5-door Thar in the Indian market. Currently, Mahindra is teasing the Thar Roxx revealing it bit by bit. Recently, Mahindra gave us a glimpse of the interiors of the Thar Roxx and now the brand has revealed the front end in pictures.
Thar Roxx – Front End Design
While the fascia may look similar to the standard Thar, it is only because of the timeless design. Closer inspection reveals a new front grille with reworked vertical slats that offer a bold and modern look. The grille also looks more premium than the standard Thar which comes with an old school grille design. Just looking at the grille one can deduce that the Thar Roxx will be positioned above the Thar 3-door.
The headlamp units also appear completely new and come with a C-shaped LED DRL. The main beam appears to be of the projector LED type and the front fenders also appear to come with marker lamps which could double up as turn indicators. In addition to this, the front bumper of the Thar Roxx is also completely new and features a dual tone theme. The central element is finished in silver and mingles well with two black panels that flank it. The new bumper also gives the Thar Roxx an aggressive stance while housing what appears to be halogen fog lamps.
Thar Roxx – Other Features
Other features on the Thar Roxx are likely to include, a full-digital instruments cluster and a large touchscreen infotainment system with Harman/Kardon audio. In addition to this, the Thar Roxx will also come with a large dual pane panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control air conditioning, rear AC vents, front ventilated seats and advanced safety features such as ADAS. The brand will also offer distinguishing factors on the rear of the Thar Roxx and obviously the sides distinguishes itself from the 3-door.
The Thar Roxx will make its debut on the 15th August 2024.
