Mahindra XUV400 – Electric Version Of The XUV300 Is Here

Mahindra has showcased its plans for the EV segment with both domestic and international markets in its mind. While its Born Electric range will arrive in 2025, we get a glimpse of what is about to come with the new XUV400. This electric SUV will mostly make its debut on September 08, 2022.

Unlike Mahindra’s Born Electric SUVs, which are based on an entirely new INGLO platform, this XUV400 is essentially an electric version of the XUV300. Hence the approach is very similar to what we see in the Nexon EV. However, one major difference is that XUV400, at 4.2 metres, is longer by 200 mm in length compared to XUV300, which measures 3,995 mm. Size-related tax benefits don’t apply in the case of electric cars. Hence XUV400 leverages this by getting a longer length.
